Switching themes is not an option. I’ll have to find another way to create a header search that outputs research on a new page.
What was the answer to re-upload to edit my packages? I added an id column but it does not work. I’m still waiting on response here: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/not-able-to-update-file-package-with-csv-export-import/.
Hi Downloads Manager,
I am just checking to see if you saw my last post. I still need help with exporting categories, tags, and images.

Hi Downloads Manager,
I am just checking to see if you saw my last post enter. I still need help getting your importer to work correctly.
Hi Tanvir,
Should the [wpdm_search_result] shortcode take the user to a new page when something is searched? This is happening when I test but no content is loaded on the page.
Is there a shortcode to replace the WordPress search bar?
Or is it possible to add the download button to WordPress search bar results?

Hi Nayeem,
This issue is an issue with the latest version of your plugin. I need to export categories, tags, and images.

Also, the image preview column is missing as well.
Hi Downloads Manager,
Do you have any updates or estimated timeline? Also responding again to move this up the list.

Found it here: wp-content/plugins/wpdm-archive-page/filter/views/filter.php
Thank you
Hi Downloads Manager,
I am checking back on “Tags are not being imported – We are working on this. I hope fixes will come in the next update”. Have you made progress toward this fix? Do you have a timeline for when it would be?

Hi Nayeem,
That is great we can export via XML but the client needs to work with the CSV file to update things. I noticed copying the columns from the exported CSV to the downloaded sample works if you add the ID.
That process is okay but it is inefficient. Something that should be improved if you’re selling that addon.

I’m trying to upload the file I downloaded from the CSV exporter. The importer will not load and stays at 1%.
For Issue #1, We are working on this. I hope fixes will come in the next update – Thank you
And For issue #2, In your Column headings please use the ID of an existing package, for the cases, If you want to update existing packages. – I will get this a try and let you know

Okay, thank you Nayeem
Correct this is the addon I am referring to
Hi Nayeem Riddhi,
Does the cart addon work with Amazon S3?
If the files are set up as single file packages, can the cart addon download all assets at once?

Hi Downloads Manager,
Is there a workaround like uploading a zip file to AWS S3 and connecting that file to the main download button? Can I do that?

Hi Downloads Manager,
I fixed this by adding CSV to the allowed file types to upload setting. As a recommendation, this should be allowed by default.

When I click download csv this window appears.
No errors in the console.
Hello Tanvir,
Sorry, I’m not speaking about the bucket. I’m talking about when an object is created using the plugin. According to Amazon S3 documentation, metadata should be added to the put request when WordPress creates a new object. Where in the plugin file can I add this? It does not make sense to edit every object every time a user uploads something.
From https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/UsingMetadata.html
When uploading an object, you can also assign metadata to the object. You provide this optional information as a name-value (key-value) pair when you send a PUT or POST request to create the object. When you upload objects using the REST API, the optional user-defined metadata names must begin with “x-amz-meta-” to distinguish them from other HTTP headers. When you retrieve the object using the REST API, this prefix is returned. When you upload objects using the SOAP API, the prefix is not required. When you retrieve the object using the SOAP API, the prefix is removed, regardless of which API you used to upload the object.
Respectfully,
Verne
