HI Shahriar,

the only license related error notification we get for WpDownloadManager is this: “Please activate license for automatic update. ”

But I’m thinking if this issue persists but only affects the auto update featured, we’re thinking to just download the latest files from you guys and manually update.

As long as the download links we build continue to work, then we’re ok.

We had no issues like this in the staging site when we were testing it. But it was in an earlier version of wordpress.

Is license verification only for automatic updates?

We have other plugins that are doing ajax calls to admin-ajax.php but they have no issues with the access. This is download manager pro 4.7.1

Our main concern is that we are using it for all our private download links and that this issue may affect the plugins functionality in serving these links.

Does the license file limit the main plugin functionality of managing the download links or is it just for automatic updates?

This is what is in the console output. In the dashboard, i just get the gear icon moving but nothing is happening

Also for additional information, we originally tested the plugin in our staging site and now we are trying to implement it in our live site but we can’t save the license file and login settings.
