Situation is corrected, thank you!
ok, another update as I troubleshoot this. I went back to my plugin and resaved the license key again and this time it was successful. SO I ASSUME it is now licensed for the new URL of where I moved my site. I hope so. The plugin is now updated.
I’ll thank myself for the help!
So on my order I found where the License key is and I clicked “remove” on the url. I was thinking it would certainly give me the option to add a new URL. But it didn’t. Now I can’t find anywhere to enter my new URL.
PLEASE HELP.
I tried to search help to find how to change the license key URL, but found nothing even close to that topic.
It may be b/c I moved my site the url is different now. I need to find how to update that.
I have done this and it’s still giving the same error.
Thank you so much for adding a place to find the embed code. That was helpful for that issue. Now back to the Author issue. I’m talking about the Author field INSIDE the package. Referring to who wrote the PDF that I’m uploading. There used to be 2 fields in this general area that I could fill out: https://www.screencast.com/t/EpNkbgctsjY9
1) Document Author
2) Document Date
I’m trying to get those fields back to the “new package” page.
Hope that helps.

There is no column for this. It used to be automatic.
No, I haven’t made the changes yet. I just wanted to know if I ran a plugin that goes through my whole site and changes/updates all urls to the new domain, if you knew of any issues I should look for.
My PHP is now upgraded to 7.1
Thank you, I’ll reply here when I’ve completed that.
Thank you , yes, that is what I’m asking how to do…….
change the link behaviour through editing templates.
Thank you!
But when I insert [download_link] it only opens now b/c I changed that master setting that you said in Step 1 above. So how do I override that for a new button to download the file? I want to have both an ‘open’ button and a ‘download’ button next to each other! Thank you!
Nevermind on this. I figured it out right after I posted this.
Thank you! I got that figured out now! In my settings, I changed the default mode of download to Open, as you instructed above. And that is good for what I want in the Link template.
However, on the page template, I would like to provide BOTH, an open button and a download button. Except now, my buttons only open! How can I make a “download” button from scratch and put that into my page template?
Are you saying that the [doc_preview] can’t be inserted to a blog post?
Also, how do I tell it which PDF doc I want it to show?
Thanks.
Thank you! How do I insert the doc_preview into my blog post? Thanks!
I did create a new template, but the preview still only shows my homepage in the preview box. Right now, the only way I can see a template is to insert the shortcode into my post and publish it to see it live.
I did finally figure out how to get those add-ons added by going to my account page.
I still need help on a beginners guide to getting started. I should do a separate post on that topic.
