— This is because the category access is assign to “All Visitors”, as selected category access also assigned to all packages under those categories. So you need to uncheck “All Visitors” from that category.
Access are calculated as union, not intersection or override, because it is easier to understand for users.
Best way is moving complete database and then all files in /wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/ dir
Import export only require when you are moving server. Usually WordPress import/export moved all database entries, but you also need to transfer all files in /wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/ dir
It is conflict with another plugin or current theme, need “Admin” access to check in details.

This is working fine in our server. If you try to download a password protected package via link (/?wpdmdl=xxx) it doesn’t download actual package but download text file which contents Download link is expired or not valid. Please get new download link. If you get problem now, Would you please give us temporary wp-admin access via a private reply? We need to check it.

That is not possible for now, as after user enters their email address wpdm pro generate a temporary download link for him and mail it. So he he just come to page url the download link will be lost, But it can be achieved through some customization.
wpdm works fine with both cache plugin as per our test, probably something else causing the issue, please try disabling other plugin.
The color is coming from your theme, you need to remove color: #fff from file /betheme/css/variables.css , line# 195 as shown in following image:
