Thank you for your assistance, its working perfectly now. I apologize for getting you to look into it when it was a css issue.
There is no option to delete attachments on the front-end. How would I get that setup?
Thanks that is working. Is there a setting to only allow 1 document attached and/or to delete attachments on the front end? If I go and edit a package it adds an additional document to it so when you click on it its a zip file rather than opening a pdf. All documents on this website will be pdfs.
I haven’t heard back on this will they email me directly?
I’m trying to add login information as a private message but I don’t believe its working.
This search returns the result of 0 even though that is the name of an author of a document.
Hi I have an issue with the changes made. The original customization restricted access to 2 categories (Historical Papers & Journal Reprints) so they were only available to users with the role: Historical Editors on the front end. After the update all the categories show for all users.
The issue I was trying to get corrected that was if you were editing a download the category section would reset and have no categories selected, since this was corrected the category restrictions based on user role no longer work.
The second change with the date picker is working perfectly thanks.
I’ve added the original file: wpdm-add-new-file-front-old.php to the folder in FTP so you can review it.
Thank you for your assistance.
Thank you for your assistance.
#1 is working since the change.
#2 yes please add the date to the front-end editing or let me know what code to add to the wpdm-add-new-file-front.php file in my theme to get the date added.
My previous version was 4.9.3. When I had the custom work completed I asked if it would work even after upgrades. I was looking forward to version 4.9.7 as I needed to be able to adjust the date of the downloads on the front end.
Thanks re-copying the code for the category in wpdm-add-new-file-front.php worked. I look forward to the update that doesn’t allow users on front-end to access the edit screen for other packages.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins except Download Manager and WPDM Page Template to test and issue persists. When I disable a template under the status column it turns to a red x. But when I refresh the page its no longer disabled.
I’ve tried uninstalling WPDM and re-installing it and the issue persists. Please advise. I have a full backup of the website so you can test.
This was originally discussed on this ticket but another user took over and confused matters: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/disable-templates/
Thanks, do you have an approximate of when the next update will be available?
@shafayet please try disabling other plugins and reinstalling wpdm pro on my site wbabin.com. I have a backup.
Is Publish Date an option on the frontend now? If so how do I go about implementing it? Thanks.
Hi Shahriar is the support on the frontend uploader coming in an update soon? We last spoke about it in May and you mentioned it was coming soon.
Please try again. There was some issue with the password but I’ve reset it.
