Hi Shahjada, I’m just folowing up on my reply Nov 11, 2020 at 1:06 am – would love to hear from you soon : )
Hi Shahjada,
I’ve updated the plugin to the latest version, which removes the custom changes you made.
I have updated the file: class.AssetManager.php with your custom changes myself – this allows an Editor to see all the files – but I also need to fix the file/s you adjusted on your reply [Oct 26, 2020 at 11:11 am] that allows the Editor to upload files to ALL folders in Asset Manager. Could you please let me know what file/s you edited?
Thanks
Excellent, thank you. I just tested and can confirm it is working as well.
Thank you for your help with this : )
Thanks, I can see ALL files now through the Editor Role. However as an Editor I cannot upload files to the folders – is this still some permissions issue? I can upload as an Admin.
As an Editor, it won’t upload for example to folder paths: “Home” or “project-one > documents”
Hi, I’ve added this to my wp-config.php and the Editor role still does not have access to all the files in Asset Manager. I have tested a few times and turned off plugins etc but no luck.
I can only get Editor Role to have access to all files if I give them “Manage Options” capabilities – but I do not want to do this as it allows access to a lot of other WordPress settings.
Any other ideas?
Thanks
Hi, I am creating a package with a page template that uses the following shortcode tag: [file_list_extended_256x256x4].
The PDF thumbnail previews work when I “Attach file” to a package, however the PDF thumbnails do NOT work if I use “Attach Dir”.
Thanks
Hi, I am using the pro version and this is not working for me either. I want to allow editor level role to be able to access all files in the Asset Manager. Is there a way to change this without editing core plugin files?
Thanks
