Dear Shahriar,

thanks for the information.

Just one more question. Will this customization be affected somehow by the next WPDM’s updates?

Regards.

Hi Shaon,

I try to be more clear.

The starting point is the following: I have to prepare an uploading file form for my colleagues.

To avoid as much as possible errors in the uploading process, we would like to create a form with some prefixed fields (drop down menu, if possible) such as file title, corporate form, date and so on) and other open fields like description and tag.

The file title shown in the frontend for the users is made by the combination of file title, corporate form and date.

So, do you think it’s possible to customize the frontend uploader as I explained above?

Or, if it’s not possible to do what I’m asking for, could you please suggest me the best way to use WPDM to create something similar?

Regards.

Hi Shahriar,

thanks a lot for your willingness.

I’ll let you know next week because I have to talk about it with one of my colleague.

It was important to know that it is possible to do it for the moment.

Best regards.

Hi Shaon,

thank you for the quick reply!

Is it not possible through the .csv file upload then? I’ve been able to create only categories uploading the .csv file from the mass import tab in the admin menu but I thought it would be possible to add also related subcategories at the same time.

Have you scheduled when to upgrade this feature? If not, I create them from the category tab in the admin menu for the moment, don’t I?

Regards.

Hi again,

I solved installing the previous version and everything is turned back fine..

Anyway, I think that the problem is caused by the updates tab in settings page.

I will try to update the files manually and I’ll let you know.

Best regards.

Hi,

I’ve got the same problem. I also checked the css but I couldn’t find the error you mentioned above.

Could you please have a look at my pages “Settori” and “Ricerca avanzata”? You already have username and password, ftp access for my website.

Regards.

Hi Shahriar,

thanks a lot for the support.

I translated for the moment those english text into the related php page even though I know that they will be replaced with the next new version of the file.

Best regards.

Sorry but I have to ask you one more thing:

1) How is it possible to add “related documents” as you see in the first screenshot attached on the previous comment.

Best regards.

Hi,

I translated the archive page .po file with no problems!

Now I don’t know what to do about the translation of package info files and WordPress Download Manager backend.

I tried to modify wpdmpro-it_IT in /wp-content/plugins/download-manager/languages but it doesn’t work.

Can you help me, please?

Regards.

Hi Razia!

I created and it works now! ๐Ÿ™‚

How can I translate “apply”, “cancel”, “from” and “to” in the calendar? I didn’t find them in the original english version of the .po file.

Another question: at the same way, do I have to create a filename-it_IT.po for any other WPDM component in the plugin directory to make it work?

Thanks a lot!

Regards.

Hi Shaon,

thanks for the reply, first of all!

I tried to modify by Poedit the file you suggested me and I also compiled the wpdmap.mo.
As an attempt, I tried to change the word “reset” with “pulisci” but nothing has changed, after I updated the files.

I had the same experience with the other .po files in Download Manager Pro.

I hope it helps to solve my issue.

Let me know if you need account details to further explore the problem.

Regards
