No worries, Tahasin!

It appears that the settings for the Add On changed and now there is a new toggle for read only. I turned it off and we can upload files.

Hi Tahasin, thank you for responding. This error is very easily duplicated. Please install the WPDM plugin (Version 6.7.1) and Amazon S3 add on (Version 3.2.2) on a fresh install on wordpress without any other plugins so there is no conflict. You will see this error.

The error went away with the latest release of Amazon S3 Add on (Version 3.2.2). However, there is a new problem now – the upload link disappeared. Now, we can attach an already uploaded file to a post but cannot upload a new package to an S3 bucket. Again, very easily duplicated on a fresh install of WP – WPDM and Amazon S3 add on.

I have tried multiple times to open a ticket, Nayeem, but it never appears on this forum. So, I am not sure if it is stuck in moderation or there is something else going on.

Hi Nayeem, we have the same issue and I have submitted a couple of tickets and none of them are posted in this forum. With the latest version of WPDM Pro the S3 add on doesn’t work – when clicked it doesn’t show the modal to upload a package to S3. Please help!

Thanks, Shahjada. I want to make sure I understand. When I set this option, will ALL packages be hidden or can I pick the ones I want to hide?

I also have a related question. Is it possible to hide an entire package from site visitors?

We have downloads that we want to show to a site visitor that requests them to login to download the attached package.

We want to add downloads with attachments that are completely hidden from the site visitor (hidden in package lists, categories, etc.) and visible only if they login.

Thanks, Nayeem, but wouldn’t this completely “noindex” packages? I just don’t want that parameter to show up on the front end. Is that required for the User Limits functionality?

Hi Nayeem, it is the text that the upward arrow is pointing to. This is the text in the category description field. I want this to be visible only on the category page and then disappear from page 2 onwards.

Hi Nayeem,

Yes, it works for me too. However, on a clean install NOT on upgrade on an existing install. So, please test it with an existing install with v 6.0.7 and then upgrade it to v 6.0.9 and see that it stops working.

I have disabled ALL plugins and cleaned out the config file, options table removed firewalls etc. and upgraded an existing 6.0.7 to 6.0.9 and import stops working – gives an error after importing only the Title and content of the first entry (nothing else on that entry or anything after that entry is imported.

Yes, I have spend the better part of yesterday investigating this issue using Sample.csv as the import file. I have also run tests with files we have successfully used in the past. And many other permutations and combinations.

The latest version 6.0.9 doesn’t work with an existing installation’s database structure. It works on a clean install.

Prior versions all work on the existing installation.

Please send me a link to download version 6.0.8 so I can upgrade to that while you investigate this issue.

Hi Again,

I have backed out to V 6.0.7 and bulk import works fine. Unfortunately, I do not have v6.0.8 – will you please send me a link to download it so we are at least only one version behind?

As a suggestion, please have an area on the website where we can download older versions of the plugin.

Hi Nayeem,

We are trying to configure a connection using Amazon SES API interface – the second selection from the left.

I can successfully connect to Amazon SES SMTP but not to their API service which is faster for sending emails as we have over 100k+ members on the production site.

We have evaluated several other plugins and settled on Fluent because of its rich feature set so we want to make it work with WPDM.

Please help resolve this error.
