Hi,
1. You have Free version of WPDM there. And i see there are Pro Version too, but it is not active and you changed the folder name. However, delete all Download Manager installation, then download and install a fresh copy from here http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/purchases/
2. After activating you will find the Link Template drop down in package settings ( it is not present in your current setting, because Free version does not have this option )
3. When insert your downloads in a page use TinyMCE addon. You don’t have to remember shortcodes if you are using this addon.
Let me know if you have further query.
Thanks.
To do it like crentric or other WPDM themes would require customized home template.
But there is a workaround to show downloads in frontend. You can create a page and insert categories or all package shortcode there. And set that page as your frontpage from Dashboard Seetings Reading Options.
Hi, Doesn’t look like this issue is related to WPDM. Didn’t face such issue with WPDM before. Try disabling other plugins or changing theme to pinpoint the source. Thanks.
Hi, Selected dir may be empty ( possible reason ). However to be sure i need your FTP and wp-admin. Could you please send temporary creds in private reply?
Both working fine in my test. Could you please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply?
Hi, Your Tapatalk for WordPress plugin is blocking the page reload after login. After disabling this plugin login works fine. Thanks.
Hi, I see, Downloads are loading after clicking category link. In initial page load server responding with 500 error. Could you please send temporary wp-admin login information in private reply, so i can check this issue in your installation.
Your order_by parameter should be like order_by="post_title"
Try the correct parameter, that will solve the issue.
Use TinyMCE addon to avoid such errors. It provides easy interface to use shortcodes.
Hi,
Temporary user need administrator role to use plugin editor.
@Joshua, I think you are using an old version. We updated the misspelled shortcode. However, great to hear everything sorted out.
@Mcattelan, Just update your dashboard/frontend page without changing anything. That will fix the 404 issue. If that doesn’t solve it, please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply.
Hi,
This looks like a js issue. Might be coming from one of your plugin. PLease send temporary wp-admin login information in private reply to check these issues in your installation. Thanks.
Frotnend shortcode doesn’t work in child page. Also if you see 404 in current page where it is working just update the page without any change. It fixes the issue. It happens when changing theme (permalink reset issue). Closing this topic as the issue has been resolved. Thanks.
Hi, send your login url too.
Hi, Do you have latest version ( 3.5.2 ) of Premium Package plugin and Verse theme? Please check the version and let me know if that’s not the reason. Thanks.
Hi, Really sorry for delayed reply. Somehow missed this topic. Download Manager update feature has been added recently. There are some issue related to server settings and directory restriction which prevents WPDM to update itself. However we are working on it and this update feature will work as expected soon. Sorry for the trouble. For now use manual update. Thanks.
Hi, Please send the login url and a temporary user login information to check this issue.
Hi,
Clone a link template and save it. That should remove the warning. However we will add a fix for it next release. If you want me to check it there, please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply.
Thanks.
After selecting directory click ‘Browse Files’ button to load files from that directory. https://www.evernote.com/l/AUfbS4muHoFB653oJQ69U50bi08HqA-IoUoB/image.png
Hi, It might be coming from directory restriction in your FTP server. In your FTP directory try setting access to 777. That might resolve the issue. Or send temporary FTP and wp-admin login info in private reply to check.
Hi, WPDM auto update is a new feature, sometimes it does not work as expected because of server settings (your server may be blocking connection or some access restriction in directory ). We are working on it. All update issues will be resolved soon. Update plugin manually for the time being. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thanks.
Hi, Search is working for me in both links. Could you please try again? Let me know if there is any issue in specific case.
