This is happening because of your non-ascci file name and mysql table Collation or server’s data type support. Probably it is not support non-ascii chars, you need to contact your server support for that, however, in the mean time, please give me ftp access and php my admin login in a private reply to check the issue in details.

Not sure what your coder meant. Email lock settings is available in Lock Options tab in package settings. It should always be accessible.

Yes, you can use this hook wpdm-package-form-left in functions.php

Use Premium Package addon as reference. We used wpdm-package-form-left hook there ( Check init_hooks function in wpdm-premium-packages.php file )

You can open download link in new tab using custom link template.

1. Clone current link template you are using now. Then use [download_url] template tag as following example.

I placed new download widget in main sidebar and it is showing fine:
