Download Manager uses core WordPress search system. You keyword has to be present in title or description of package to be visible on search. You can use Directory add-on to use more advanced search. It search for actual file name and given file name in wpdm package settings.

But, You can use a link template with [file_list] template tag. It will show list of files with download button.

Remove current shortcode you are using and use [wpdm_simple_search] shortcode. It will show only a search bar.

Are you facing any issue with this class?
We use this wrapping class to prefix css class. This way download manager css doesn’t effect the external css coming from your theme or another plugin. There no shortcut way except removing it manually.
Maybe current user does not have access to the sub-category.
However, Please send login info in private reply to check the issue.

Do you just want to show all categories in a page? If that the case, you can use Directory add-on, which shows all categories using a shortcode. See demo here http://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/categories/

It shows child categories as dropdown from main category. And filters post based on selected category.

You can either download or open file in browser. No option to activate both at the same time. Although user can easily download the PDF file when it is open is browser.
Open in browser option is controlled from WPDM Settings Basic File Download Panel.

There was a css conflict with your theme. I fixed it. You can use the navigation to go back to previous page. It uses ajax to load files.

You can do that by applying email lock in a package. But you need to use link template to show the download button. You can build your custom link template if you want a customized look.

Both front and admin are using same code for those filters, not use why it works only in front. Could you please consult with WPML about this? They will understand related WPML settings better than us.
