Directory addon has a shortcode to all categories w/,w/o package count. But no option yet to show category image there.
Your image should be at least 800px wide to fit with theme design. But we can use following css to make it full width,
.single-col-flat > img { min-width: 100%; }
The link you shared uses Crypton’s default look. Your package page should look like that by default if you are using Crypton. You need this add-on to show image buttons https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-image-button/

You can’t change the text of single file download button. If you don’t want single file download link, just remove [file_list] tag from your page/link template.
There is an addon ( File Cart ) which allows downloading selected files as from different/same package(s) as a single zip.

Bootstrap JS was deactivated from Download Manager settings. After activating Bootstrap JS the issue has been resolved.

Last download link downloads the whole package where green buttons download each file. You will see the difference when you have multiple files in a package.
If you want you can remove the last download button using custom link/page template. Just remove the [download_link] tag from there.

Last time I checked your site for subscription popup everything was okay. Are you sure this is coming from Download Manager?
Try installing a fresh copy of Download Manager.
You can change the Download Manager folder name using FTP which will deactivate the plugin. I didn’t do it because you said it is a live site. You can do it whenever is best for you.
Let me know if re-installation doesn’t solve it.

Yes, you can add as many pages as you want from Admin Pages Add New page. And you can add any type of content there. Also, you can add sidebar in a page and place ads banner there using widgets.

Simple fix is to check the option “Disable New Package Notification Email” from Admin Menu Downloads Settings Frontend Tab. But if you want to keep email active, please contact your server support with the error.
