Most probably your WP Video Robot plugin is modifying the query using pre_get_posts hook which affecting the WPDM Query result. Please ask the plugin author to check the issue. You are using the free version of WPDM there. But PDF Viewer requires the Pro version. Please install the Download Manager Pro and set Single Column with Doc Preview as page template. Then the PDF viewer will be visible to private downloads.
