Hi Shahriar,
It’s been two months, so I wanted to check up on this thread as our client wants this to be fixed asap.
Have you managed to fix the issue with the category buttons being visible even though there’s no content in them?
I did change all of the packages manually, but I’ve come across another issue. The packages are not visible, but the category buttons on the Archive Page are still displaying (also the number of packages in the category). There’s no content once you click them, but it’s a major usability issue that the buttons doesn’t disappear.. Please tell me there’s a way to fix this?
Alright, I’m glad it’s posible to fix it, but it’s also pretty inconvinient. We have hundreds of files and bulk editing them doesn’t work. Neither does changing them with the default values plugin.. Do you have any suggestion for how we can remove the selection in the access field for all the packages?
I’m having no luck trying to figure this out so I made a shortcode to generate my own thumbnails that I thought I could use.
However, there is no way for me to use this shortcode in the template creator. Come on… There need to be an easier way to customize and populate these templates with other types of content!
I also tried editing the templates inside wp-content/download-manager/templates/, but they too convert my PHP to HTML..
I’ve been working on this for several days trying to figure this out, please give me some more detailed instructions on how I can change the output of the [thumb_WxH]..
So is that function (wpdm_dynamic_thumb) the function that generates the [thumb_] shortcode?
I’ve already been through wpdm-functions.php, but I couldn’t find which code decided where to display the icon/thumbnail.
It would be great if you could actually give me the line number in the file…
Also, could you tell me how to access the downloads of a package?
EX:
Download Package 1 -> File 1 in package -> url path of that file
Do you do custom work? Could I for example hire you to do it?
Hi Shaon,
That’s great, this code works perfect for the page template.
Is there a similar function for the link template? I would like the users of the site to have a sneak peak of the content of the package, so they don’t have to navigate inside each for a chance to find out what’s in it.
