Good question. I have deleted other orders, but not in this case.
Is there a chance there is a log somewhere tied to downloads or maybe pdf stamper, separate from the orders, that would show an order number tied to a valid download? Some other reference point for this order?
And in case there is not, is there a way to add an order entry into the system so it appears as a valid order should the customer ever want to redownload? Which they can’t now because, as you said, the order doesn’t exist?
Thanks.
Scott
You’re right, I had some overactive redirecting going on there.
I was able to test a PayPal transaction, and it now shows up in the order area as “Processing” (I didn’t complete it). I only have one PayPal account, and it’s the one tied to Stripe unfortunately, and you can’t have a live transaction using the same account as the seller.
So it looks like PayPal transactions are being captured in orders…so any thoughts why the one at the beginning of the thread isn’t?
Cheers, have a good weekend.

Good afternoon, hope the week has been a good one. Just checking to see if you have any thoughts on why/how a user was able to pay via PayPal, download the document, yet his order doesn’t show up on the site? Thanks for making the time.

Confirmed! All good on this side:
– All plugins updated
– Purchased downloads are stamped correctly
– No link-expired.txt files
Woohoo! Here’s hoping we never have to go back to that place, lol.
Have a great rest of the week, thanks again.

Good morning, hope the weekend was a good one. Just checking in – there have been a couple updates, wanted to know if I should wait on any of them until the Premium Plugin has the necessary fixes. Or if I should go ahead an update everything but that one until I hear from you that the fix has been implemented? Thanks for any thoughts, have a good day.

Understood. Thanks for the heads up.
I removed the free files and reattached and they are now available for download. Seems it was a path issue, which is odd because the other files in the package are stored in wpdm but they still resolved to the correct path…weird.
Hope you are making some progress on the other issues. Let me know if there are specific log files that I can find and send to help.
Cheers!

Reverting to two days ago before the premium update and reactivating PDF Stamper worked. However, the free file attached to the package is back to producing an empty zip file, just fyi. Hope that helps.
Keep me posted please.

Thanks for addressing this so quickly. Am I the only one affected when these updates come out? Seems like guest orders versus full registration would be something that others were using as well…
Where would I find the error log? I recently switched hosting providers (now GoDaddy) and can ftp into the public HTML but no further.
Let me know, thanks again.

Also, when you try to download the free file attached to the package, it downloads an empty zip file by the correct name. I checked the package settings and nothing appears to have been changed by the update this morning. Thanks again.
Shariar, good evening. It was working until the Premium update today. Now when you attempt to download it doesn’t produce the link-expired.txt file, it just bounces you to the homepage without downloading any file at all. Would you please take a look? Is it possible that the quick-fix code that worked before is conflicting with the new Premium update?
Thanks for taking the time, will send login credentials in a separate note.

Thanks Hasibul, makes sense. I should have known that you have to upload versus link to Box from the work we did on PDF Stamper.
Right now, on that page, I have 9 examples of packages that I would like to put in order. I’ve added a custom field, Order, and given each package a value. On the page I’m using this shortcode: [wpdm_category id="consulting," cols="2" toolbar=0 item_per_page=10 order_by="Order" order="asc" colsphone=1 template="5ae174cd38e32"].
Would there be a reason it’s not ordering by “Order” in ascending order?
Thanks for any thoughts.
