I went ahead and deactivated it until we decide to use that plugin or not. It appears to be working now.
Thanks for the help
Thanks! I forgot about the template editing.
oooh, I am blind. I didn’t even see the other tabs in the box haha.
Thanks!
It is now downloading the file. However, it says an email is also being sent out but no email is being received. I tested a couple of email accounts and browsers. Not sure how to fix that. Maybe we can just edit the popup message that says an email was sent?
Thanks
ah thanks. It worked.
Also, I went ahead and created a test download page and it also gives a 404 error when you try to go to it.
Not sure what exactly is happening.
Ok, I think I figured out what is actually causing the issue. I deactivated WPDM and all the related add-ons for it. I activated the add-ons one by one and found that the WPDM – Button Templates is causing the issue. I currently have that as the only WPDM plugin/add-on active. If you go test it again and deactivate it, you will see that you are able to hit the “X” button and close the image frame.
I’m not even sure if I was using that add-on for anything but it might be nice to figure out how to prevent that issue from happening with that add-on.
Let me know what you find out.
Thanks!
What do you mean the same way? Are you able to close the image frame with the “X” button after it is enlarged?
What did you test it in? I just tested multiple product pages again in chrome, firefox, and edge. I still have the same problem as I shown in the video earlier in this post… I can’t close the enlarged images unless I hit the escape key. I cannot click on the thumbnails on the right side…
Just wanted to check in on an update. Is this still being looked at?
Thanks
Yeah, at one point I had the plugin network activated and realized I could just activate it for one site.
The plugin is active on the powerinnovations.com site. Here is an examle of the issue:
http://powerinnovations.com/store/q-70t-generator/
Click on the main image to make it zoom in. You can see that you are not able to exit the image frame unless you hit the escape key. Once I turn off the download manager plugin, it works perfectly. Not sure what is causing the issue.
I also created a video here:
It shows the issue we are having. Our new site is currently being hosted locally. I can give you the host file info to view it if needed. You would just need to edit your host file to view our ip & domain.
Let us know how to resolve this issue.
Thanks!
I just figured out that you don’t have to network activate a plugin for all subdomains site. I’m new to multisite for wordpress. I went in and deactivated the plugin for all sites and only activated it for the main site and it worked. It is no longer an issue with the amps site…
However, I was curious if there is a fix to prevent the issue in case we want to use the modal popup on our corporate site that contains the download manager pro?
If you need to see the issue active on the amps site again I can change what I fixed. Just let me know.
Thanks
oh ok. I must have needed to clear the cache to see the change. Thought it was just keeping it the same size regardless of the size of the icon.
Thanks!
Thanks for getting back so quickly. I was curious if there was away to replace that teal download button with a custom one I made? What would be the best way to do so? Is there going to be an option in the future through settings?
Thanks again!
Finally figured it out. Not sure how to close the topic. Thanks
