I contacted SiteGround on the off chance that it was some issue with their servers. Turns out it was, and they had to add the following to my site’s .htaccess file to get it to work:

<IfModule mod_security.c>
SecFilterRemove 001868
</IfModule>

So the issue has been resolved and was not a problem with the WPD plugin per se. I hope this helps someone in the future…

I just did a fresh install of the latest version of WordPress on my SiteGround account. I then installed the Download Manager Pro plugin, went to Settings, and just clicked the Save Settings button. I get the same error.

So this is not a plugin or theme conflict.

Please address this ASAP. I am on a very time sensitive project and this issue is blocking me.
