hi there, i too am getting the “please activate “zlib” in your server” error message for zip pacakges. Any other solutions i can try??

i am using php 5.6.29 and as far as i know zlib is activated on the server….

please help

just one other thing i noticed, some of the top level category have (0) next to them, which is confusing as people may think category is empty, it should sum all of the items in the sub categories and show the total number instead of 0.

please see attached screenshot…. any way to fix this?

any more news on this? my client is getting desperate for a solution and will move to another plugin if no solution found soon….

Ok you are not understanding.;… yes i see the initial order is alphabeticall….

click on “operational > bevan” (in the dropdown) and you will see it does not order alphabetically when you select any category….

i need the default order to always be alphabetical even when you click on a category….. the order_by in the shortcode only works for the page you land on….. not the category filters….

Is it possible to hack the wp download manager or directory addon code so that the default order is ALWAYS alphabetical?

At the moment the default order is latest first, when you click on a category or dropdown category, (not just when you land on the page which yes it ordered alphabetically for eg here http://www.mastermaths.co.za/login/memos-by-category )

No its not!! i want the default order to be alphabetically…. its ordering by published date currently. This part of the shortcode is not working order_by=”post_title”. Langottsgmail got the same problem….

hi there, using this directory addon and the following shortcode.,..

[wpdm-archive button_style=”default” items_per_page=”24″ cols=”3″ category=”category-slug” order_by=”title” order=”desc” ]

but the order_by field does not work….. tried all the given parameters listed here (— order_by: package_size_b or date or modified or download_count or view_count or title ) but none of them work…..

PPPlease help!! very frustrating…..
