Hi Nayeem,
wow great! It works perfect.
Thank you very much for your help. Highly apprecieated again.
Best regards!
Thank you for the code!
I put it at the end of funkctions.php file but it seems not to work.
Should it work as soon as I put in the code? Or is there a specific location in functions.php where I should insert it?
I hope you can guide me again.
Best regards!
Yes exactly! Similar to that.
Thank you and best regards!
Hi Nayeem,
thanks for the reply. Hope you are well, too!
Sorry, I don’t understand. Where would I find the file_list template tag? We are uploading packages and there are usually about 50 files in it. Its about the sorting of the 50 files.
Best regards!
I did both now, hope that will help eventually.
Thanks for you help again, highly appreciated!

Hi, thanks for your quick reply!
Yes indeed, I am talking about Downloads > Categories > View Of a Single Category. So after choosing a category, there are all the download packages of this category. Hope that helps
Kind Regards
Hi!
Okay thank you. But if it is already password protected (all of the files are) the captcha lock would be unnecessary for blocking bot access?
Regards!
Yes I will do that!
Thanks and take care.
Hi Nayeem,
oh I see!! That works…
Thank you again for your help.

Hi Nayeem,
thanks. But sorry, again. I added the snippet again at the very end of the functions.php. But from where do I get the Post ID? Is it the part of the URL which can be edited? e.g. hello.de/download/333_1/
Thanks, your help is highly aprreciated.

Hi Nayeem,
okay understood!
Thanks for the code. Where exactly do I have to put in the code? In your example, the ‘3241’,… is the Post ID/package ID right?
Thanks a lot for your help.
Regards.
Hello Nayeem!
Thanks for your reply.
It doesn’t seem to work. Google is indexing a new created site. Maybe I put the code in the wrong section of the funnctions.php (?)
But besides that, is it possible to avoid indexing specific download packages? Like to add the no index tag at a download package?
Thanks in advance and best regards!
Hello Nayeem!
Thank you for your quick reply. I will consider that.
Regards!
Hello,
okay thank you! I thought the feature is maybe not available anymore with the updated WPDM.
But then I will search in WP forums for this issue.
Regards!

Thank your very much for your help!!
Best Regards,

Hello!
Thank you.
unfortunately it doesn’t seem to work with disabling this option. There was no change in the behavior. I assume you checked the other settings/themes/plugins?
By the way, did you change the theme to “Attire” for testing reasons? When I switched it back to “Optimus”, the homepage was crashed ๐ Is this normal?
I left it now on Attire.
Thanks for investigating the issue.
Regards,
Paul
