We did not modify the file before it stopped working. We tried to change it afterward, but we left it unchanged when we saw our modifications did not work.

For the Role access
Yes it did require code customization, Nayeem Rhiddi from WPDM support did it in this post but it do not work anymore after installing the directory add-on.
We just want the functionality to work again, we added the plugin after delivering so our client is complaining because he can’t use the website anymore. We have make it work as soon as possible so please just provide us the changes that was made last time.
