Solved after updating manually to 6.0.3
Hi
This is – of course – what I tried. I can upload .png, .zip, but no .exe. Specifying “png, zip, exe” does not work for .exe files. Only specifying “*” does work for .exe files. But this is not the way it should be, I guess.
Please indicate how to proceed, thank you.

Hi
I updated to the latest version of downloadmanager, now I am facing two problems.
1. I can only updload .exe files if I allow all (*) file types for upload. pdf, zip,pn,exe does not work.
2. I would like to disallow my users to change password. Is that possible? The “forgot password” button should disappear then.
Thank you

This is unchecked already, of course. However, when pressing “forgot password” in the next dialogue there is the “register” button that I would like to make disappear.
Thank you.
OK, thank you. I made some progress. Now I have the user_dashboard and would like to slim downd the menue structure by using this filter.
https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/filter-reference/wpdm_user_dashboard_menu/
I tried to remove the edit-profile entry in the menue, but it would not do anything on the user_dashboard (still looks the same). Am I missing something?
Thanks
I would like to have a list of users with login (email) and password (preassigned, not changable by user). This list contains users of two categories, ProUser1 and ProUser2 (categories). These categories shall define which files a user can download (personal download page).
So when I define downloads, they will belong to e.g. category ProUser1 oder ProUser2 (or others).
How do I do this?
Thank you
