Bump. Still no reply or action. Been asking since 7th March, over 3 months for a simple fix.

You emailed me on 2nd June saying:

“give me ftp and wp-admin info again here, I’ll adjust it for you.”

We have supplied you that information 3 times since, including here on this ticket on 4th April.

Please do it now, thank you. We are waiting to pay you when it’s done.

Hi Shariar,

Thanks for the update. Please could you explain a quick instruction on how 2. works?

For example
– A child site (example North Sea) wants a document to appear on CPMR parent site (but it does not “belong” to CPMR. it belongs to child site)

How do they make it appear on the parent site, but still it is found be filtering North Sea. They still check CPMR on admin? but now it does not appear if user filters by CPMR? is that right?

Thanks! 🙂

I am happy to make the rest of the full payment as soon as this other customisation issue is fixed. I’ve been asking since 7th March. You said on 2nd June on email you would fix it…??

Hi Shahriar,

🙂 Ah yes. I forgot the hidden/internal docs, thanks for explanation.

On the topic of the Multisite functions, sorting/filtering documents – we have some questions we have discovered from client testing. 1 is easy, 2 maybe more complex:

1. Checkbox “CPMR” under Select Site is auto checked, as per spec. But if user manually unchecks it, and clicks update – the checkbox comes back. I think this is a small misunderstanding. Although it should be checked by default, it should be possible to “manually override” and unclick. If you can tell me the place in the code that I should replace/change, I can correct it? Thanks.

2. If we are uploading a document to a Child site. In order to appear & be sortable on the Parent site (CPMR), logic dictates that the document must “belong”, (by checkbox), to CPMR and then every other site we want to make that file visible.

But, this creates a problem on the Parent site.

Because although this file has “CPMR” checked, so that it can display here, it is not a “CPMR” file as such. So, effectively, the button “CPMR” is actually showing “ALL” files. When in fact there needs to be files that are ONLY belonging to the CPMR parent site as well.

Like this:

– All
– CPMR
– North Sea Commission
– Islands Commission
– Intermediterranean Commission
– Atlantic Arc Commission
– Balkan & Black Sea Commission
– Baltic Sea Commission

Can you think of a way around this problem please?

Thanks and best wishes,

Greg

Please complete? Thank you.

Hi,

OK this is better.

How/why there is 50 document packages published in the WPDM admin area, but only 35 showing on Front End?

(Similar problem in French too. 54 documents in backend… 34 on frontend)

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the information… but.

You have changed the funcitonality? Now if we click on a Category filter, on the Documents page, we just go to a page without any sidebar (attached screenshot today)

It should stay like this, like it was before:

http://cdn.wpdownloadmanager.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Screen-Shot-2016-05-20-at-12.29.54.png

So you can move from 1 category to the next, from the same screen.

This was correct appearance before.

Now you have made changes and it does not appear correctly like before.

Now it is wrong.

Thanks

follow what I have said. This is what I have done in this screenshot/

1, Go to cpmr.org
2, Click on Documents on main menu.
3. On the right, under Document Categories, click on “Cohesion”
4. There is only 6 results.

See attached image.

As you know, there should be 13 results

Thanks

Hi Shaon,

On the left you have a link directly to

http://cpmr.org/wpdm-category/cohesion/

i.e. All files that have been checked with the category Cohesion – 13 files (screen shot 12:30:01)

On the right, you see what happens if we go All Documents, and then click on Cohesion. It *should* show the same? 13 documents from the Cohesion category…. But instead there is only 6 files shown. (screen shot 12:29)

We want to finish these customisation tasks and make final payment but the problems must be fixed. Thanks for your understanding

Hi, thanks for the reply.

This is not really a suitable or user friendly solution. Our client cannot be manually editing URLs every time they want to find a package.

It needs to be user friendly in the Admin area. it’s 2016 guys!

Your package ID is a unique identifier. How is it not possible to search for something unique, within a data system??

What about having the slug in the shortcode rather than the ID number? The ID number means nothing to the user.

Also, as no one is answering here, I will raise it in this ticket so you see it::::

Hi,

Those are individual files. We don’t want to display a category in that page. Just normal package shortcodes. Our individual files should have the same/very similar appearance as the category view. eg File Title, Category, Language Flags, on 1 line.

This work has not been completed in the paid customisation.

Shanur ignored my skype messages after 25th January and the work was not completed. We want to get the work finished.

I’m spending over $1800 with you guys, I expect better service!

You can email me if you want to discuss further.

Thanks

Greg

But it’s a multisite network, and your plugin is MultiSite compatible. What is the use of a network if you cannot access files across it?

Possible with custom coding? (File shortcodes are unique, and the database is shared on multisite…?)

Thanks

Hi Shaon,

Thank you for the fix.

– We had some small problems with the customisation we paid for and we thought these had been fixed, but I have just been made aware of 1 more. It seems like the default styling of the short code was not changed:

Example, the files here:
http://cpmr.org/event/44th-cpmr-general-assembly-date-tbc/

Should look the same as they do here:
http://cpmr.org/wpdm-category/cohesion/

I’m sure it is just a case of copying out the styling and applying it to the default shortcode, but I cannot find which one this is. Please can your customisation team complete this task? Thank you.
