I have a site I have created for a construction company. They want Employees and Contractors to visit and use the site. They will use the WPDownloadManager to manage their project files. Employees create a new ‘package’ for a project… upload all relevant files… and now contractors can access those files. When an employee signs in, I want them to go to a page I called ‘Employees – Welcome’ and when contractors sign in, I want them to go to a page I called ‘Contractors – Welcome.’

I have created two membership levels… Employee and Contractor.

I hope that helps. At this point I would gladly go back and use UltimateMember as it allows for the natural redirects per Membership type. But if You think you can make that an option that is really one of the key components I needed. If you read through my post your plugin wrangles the $FILES array to stop UltimateMember from allow members to manage their profile pic. A profile pic would be a great option as well. Again…

I don’t care which option get’s addressed, but I really need help on one…

1) UltimateMember is blocked from allowing users to upload their profile pics due to WPDownloadManager blanking out the $FILES array. If that issue could be corrected, that would be awesome.
2) WPProMembership doesn’t offer redirect after login to Membership Pages. If that could be corrected that would be awesome.

It’s not really a deal breaker, but it would be AWESOME if WPProMembership allowed members to upload Profile pics.

Is there some step necessary to get a response that I have missed? I’m at the end of day two… of this problem. TECHNICALLY, I’m about a week in. A week+ ago I installed the free versions of both UltimateMember and WPDownloadManager and started dealing with issues. I read on several message boards that the issues were resolved by upgrading to the Premium of WPDownloadManager. My clients said to do it… so I did it. Now the UltimateMember plugin can’t let my users upload avatars… which was worth the $39 they shelled out to get the WPDownloadManager’s addon WpProMembership…

So now I’ve got the WPProMembership… and I have setup an Employees membership and a Contractors membership… but I can’t get the login to route members to the pages created for each membership type (something that the free version of UltimateMembers allowed me to do). I also am locked out (as admin) from pages that I ‘Required Membership’ to as Employee or Contractor… Yet there is not option to set my membership to BOTH Admin AND Employee AND Contractor so that I can see all pages…

Having just dropped over a $100 on these plugins I would GREATLY appreciate assistance… or at LEAST a response…

I’m also frustrated at the text that pops up in the top left of this login page…

It’s really frustrating to be forced to use the far inferior Membership plugin offered here just to get the minuscule amount of options that are available when plugins out there like UltimateMembers offers all sorts of stuff… I can set it so that when members login they get redirected to specific pages based on ‘Community Roles’ (like employee or contractor) but in WP Pro Membership I get none of that… but I’m forced to use this plugin because WP Download Manager’s inability to play nicely with other plugins.

And the lack of response in 2 days to a support request is ALSO additionally frustrating…
