Thanks for the help, I will go with setting the download limit for specific pages and turn off the Limit Add-on. That add-on is great but I just need to set limits to only a few packages.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve reset the Master Download Key and ensured the Allow Access settings are set correctly. I’ll monitor the status to see if that stops the bots from inflating my download numbers. We can close this out, no other support is needed.

We do periodically share the download URL’s for particular users that don’t wanna register an account and just download the tools, but I just checked with my team and they rarely do this. Maybe once or twice a year. So I’m trying to figure out why the guest download counts are so high. I’m concerned that there may be bots. Downloading our tools and bypassing the registration somehow.
I’m trying to figure out why the download count for “Guest” download count is so high. All my download packages are locked to only people with an account. So I don’t understand why guests are able to download items on my site and why is so high compared to real users that show on the history report.
Here is a screenshot of the stats of the last 24 hours. The download count for “Guest” shows 575 downloads.

I need a response back on how to fix this issue. I’m getting a lot of emails from users on my site not able to download the files. Let me know ASAP please!
After contacting the support team at WPEngine, they set the argument wpdmdl= as a cache exclusion. Now everything seems to be working.
Hope this helps anyone else that is having this issue.

I’ve updated to the most recent version and still not working on my end. Also the Two Free Chapters for NOISE isn’t working as well? Please let me know what I can do to fix this?

Quick update. I’ve fixed mostly everything excpet “The BRIEF Lab Placemat” That download is still not working. Please advise on how to fix this.
So you are saying that we should embed these in our page instead of displaying in popup. But you have mention a different short code because I am displaying these as packages and my shortcode for these packages look like this [wpdm_package id='23302'].
How can I enable embed downloads using this shortcode or I will need more detail about this because I am also not able to find out help from your documentation.
