I had already tried to do this, but it still did not make me save the license key and the plugin stopped working giving me the error I had posted when opening this ticket:
“Error on the WordPress database: [Table ‘iptechno_dp.dp_ahm_user_download_counts’ doesn’t exist]

Then I restored the plugin to the old version because otherwise the plugin stopped working and no longer protected my downloads.

if i upgrade to the latest version of wpdm, i have the problem i reported earlier:

Hi, I have a problem with the downloads. I had already contacted you in the past and you had solved the problem, but probably due to an update the problem occurs again. In the various articles, such as this: https://designpress.it/julia-marmi-presenta-al-cersaie-i-vincitori-del-concorso/ files can only be downloaded by authenticated users. After authentication, however, the site leads to another page, but I need it to remain in the pages where it is located and that allows the user to choose which files to download.

Nothing new? I’m sorry but I urgently need to solve this problem.

using your solution I managed to solve my problem.
But now I have 2 other problems:
1) My downloads after a while no longer work and I am forced to use the “Regenerate Master Key for Download” button to regenerate them.
2) if you press the download button, download the file but then redirect to page 404.

How can I solve?
