Is this possible without assigning these permissions?
I don’t want to give them manage_options permission!!
I may as well just make them an admin.
There absolutely is a Business Deveplopment there.
But even if I change the user on the credentials I provided to an editor (which I have now done for testing) it still does not work.
This is still not working. I still receive this message : “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
This is when I am logged in as my custom user group.
This allows me to View and Add packages. But not access the Stats feature.
This does not make sense or answer the question.
The staging site is a direct replica of the main site. It is using all the same things.
I know where you added the code and I added it in the same exact way to the staging site to see if it resolved the problem there. It does not. What else did you do on the site to resolve the issue?
Ok, so is this a new requirement to be able to use custom templates? Or was I implementing something wrong?
Aslo if I add this :
add_filter(“wpdmpro_single_main_loop”, “__return_true”);
to my staging site it does not correctly resolve the problem. So what else has been done?
Guys, you’ve now had my live site down for well over an hour……this is exactly what I said could not happen and why we use staging sites. To resolve matters like this.
What is happening??
The folder is already called ‘download-manager’
Please try the credentials again.
I have updated all of the plugins manually as suggested.
If I work on the live site all of my downloads stop working as soon as I update and I do not have a solution to fix it. I tried implementing this on the live site, and it did not work. If we were still working on the live site then none of my downloads would have been available for nearly 24 hours now. That is unacceptable! I do not want to be out of a job. So no, we can’t work on the live site whilst we are trying to fix an error.
When the solution works here – we will either push this stage to live or implement on live.
Are these the right versions?
WPDM – ACF – 2.2.6
WPDM – Extended Short-Codes 2.9.0
WPDM – Gutenberg Blocks 2.0.9
I am not trying to confuse you at all.
I just told you I had implemented this on to the live version of the site. It did not work. So I pushed it to a staging copy to work on and restored my live site. I can not have my live site down, you get that right??
That is why this is a different version. Why do you think I am ‘Trying’ to confuse you. I am ‘TRYING’ to make this work.
When I update to version 6.0.3 on my live site all my templates are gone and the page looks like it did before. You fixed it before, you told what you had done is update’WPDM – Extended Short-codes’ so I have done this on the live site. IT DID NOT WORK.
I have just tried to update on my live site.
I updated to 6.0.3 and updated WPDM – Extended Short-codes to version 2.0.9
It has not worked. The Templates are still not working.
What is wrong with this?
What does that mean???
Update manually???
My product is active already.
How does this fix anything?????
There are still issues.
You have not activated Advanced Custom Fields?? I made a video of this as well.
I did up date to 6.0.3
Did you watch the video???
It is just the same. Completely disables the templates.
