Tomorrow the very strict regulations of the GDPR go live.
Europa then has very heavy privacy regulations.
To be save from getting trouble with the lawyers already waiting for us to make some fault, I have some very important questions concerning your plugin:

1. What kind of information does the plugin track?
2. Does the plugin use cookies?
3. If yes, why?
4. Does any script or something like that identify or save IP-adresses of people clicking on the download-button?
5. Does the plugin send any information about the people using my services by clicking on the button to anyone else in the world?
6. Can you be sure that your plugin saves the people using it from getting in trouble with the law soon?

It would be very kind if you could answer these questions as the penalities for violating the new privacy regulations are VERY high (millions of Euro).
Thank you so much!

No, I just built my own template. And although the preview of the template still looks like I want the download-link to be, the real download is different. I added two screenshots: above the preview which is still correct and beneath the wrong truth…

But what I really do not understand using your plugins is: All the other plugins can be updated by klicking “update”. This is not possible with the WPDM. As I wanted to update the WPDM Button, the link went to the plugin-landingpage including all the WPDM-Files. Why is there an extra update information for an extra plugin but no extra download for the plugin. I don´t really get it, sorry. Maybe I am to weakminded but this seems to be the most complicated Plugin I have ever used. Nevertheless I like it (except the update-thing) 😉
So where do I get the update only for the WPDM Image Button?

Thank you so much, Shahriar!
That helped me much, even when my design-settings (CSS) changed strongly. I think can fix that too, with a little time spend.
A final question: Is it the same with the button-plugin that I can delete it to install the latest version and have my settings save?

The following error occurs:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method WPDM\Package::validateMasterKey() in /homepages/31/d680785678/htdocs/goinglive/wp/wp-content/plugins/wpdm-premium-packages/wpdm-premium-packages.php:447 Stack trace: #0 /homepages/31/d680785678/htdocs/goinglive/wp/wp-content/plugins/wpdm-premium-packages/includes/libs/functions.php(735): WPDMPP\WPDMPremiumPackage::authorize_masterkey() #1 /homepages/31/d680785678/htdocs/goinglive/wp/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): wpdmpp_validate_download(Array) #2 /homepages/31/d680785678/htdocs/goinglive/wp/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(”, Array) #3 /homepages/31/d680785678/htdocs/goinglive/wp/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #4 /homepages/31/d680785678/htdocs/goinglive/wp/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/wpdm-start-download.php(12): do_action(‘wpdm_onstart_do…’, Array) #5 /homepages/31/d680785678/htdocs/goinglive/wp/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/libs/class.Apply.php(587): include(‘/homepages/31/d…’) #6 /homepages/3 in /homepages/31/d680785678/htdocs/goinglive/wp/wp-content/plugins/wpdm-premium-packages/wpdm-premium-packages.php on line 447

What does it mean? How can I fix it?
