So i did some test of my own. I created a fresh install, installed your plugin, added the fav button to a page template and got the exact same result. No other plugins, no themes, just WPDM and a fav button. I am sorry but at this point I believe that this functionality isn’t working at all. Did exactly what you said, except the activation. We have a 1 site licence and this is our development server. If we copy everything over to our live production we can activate this single licence there.

But still no change. The favorite button doesn’t work.

With WPEngine we tested with all plugins off, basic themes, nothing made the favorite button work.

So kind of stuck here. It is the main feature of the plugin.

What we can see is that if we go to the my downloads page, some of the images we set to favorite are there. But not all of them.. So it is saving the favorites in a way. but doesn’t update the number favorites, after favoriting the package. And not all the favorites are being saved.

My senior has recommended it maybe best to reach out to the plugin developer and ask why and ask why the plugin would be having this issue with communicating with the database and causing duplicates :)”
