I agree, it’s very unreasonable. I reluctantly gave up the fight and had to purchase the additional notification plugin. 🙁

Hi there,

Thanks for the quick response and fix for this. FYI – I ran into an issue with trying to update to v1.5.1 in the usual way. It did not update as expected and I had to download and reinstall the latest version.

Nayeem – I am NOT going to pay $49 dollars for yet another plugin when this is a simple feature that should be part of the Email Lock functionality! I am already paying annually for the WordPress Download Manager Special Pack at $99 and would expect this plugin to be part of that package!

It is ridiculous to think that an admin or some other person has to login to the website to first of know if someone has requested a download, and then approve or disapprove.

I am looking for an ** email notification ** when someone requests to download so that I may approve. Without an immediate email notification there is no means to know if someone made a request without logging into the website to check on a daily basis! Otherwise, it makes the wait for approval option useless.

How can I set an email notification please?
