Compared to a direct download link it is about 2x or 3x slowed in the tests I was doing.

Thank you for looking into this matter, your last post does work. I can now post shortcodes in bbpress…. HOWEVER, bbpress reformats my template…. so in my case, some of the text on my “card” link template is white and I can’t see the button. I don’t know of way to make bbpress leave the formatting as it is. So I will just make it work as is by linking to another page for now unless you know of why to stop bbpress from applying formatting to a shortcode.

Okay, I did not realize that was an option.

However, when I try to generate a link it says “Error! Unauthorized Access”
Also, I don’t want a usage limit or a time expiration. Should I just put large numbers those fields?

Will this option show as a link template in bbpress or it will simply be a link to click on for a direct download?
