One screenshot per post. Here is the second.
I updated to 4.0.4 and am still seeing the issues. Additionally, on my downloads page I see things like “0 download” instead of “0 downloads” and “download” with no counts. There is also a CSS spacing issue after the download icon.
I have attached screenshots.
WPDM Packages by Category. I also noticed you have a new version 4.0.4 out and I am running on 4.0.0. Would that fix the issue? I don’t want to lose the issues that was fixed on this stable version, as the newest version had some conflicts on the download templates.
Thanks!
Ok, it looks like I flipped the plugins. I now have this working, however [download_count] shows up in the sidebar. Please look at https://connect.miwaplay.com/ for an example.
Shaon,
I went to my downloads section and downloaded the 4.0.0. When installing the plugin it still shows up as RC2. Can you please send me a link to the new version?
Where is the download link and how do I update this? I looked in my plugin list and it shows it is out of date, but the link it sends it to is not the download link. Also, when I tried replacing the plugin in my folder via FTP it broke my site.
Please list the download link and steps to update.
Shaon,
What I am trying to say is the short code does not generate in my wp-admin and crashes my browser. Can you please provide a dummy short code as stated in my post from the 23rd at 8:52 PM?
I went in and tried to follow the steps to get the code and move it to a widget. When I click the “Insert Into Post” it hangs my browser and does not spit out a code. Can you please copy over a shortcode for category “x” to show the 5 most recent items? Also, will short codes work in widgets?
I am not looking to put it in to a post. I am looking to add it to a widget in the sidebar. Your predefined WordPress widgets are broke.
Alright, I have it downloaded, installed, and activated, but am unsure how to use it. Can you please list steps on how I can generate a short code for one of my categories?
Thanks.
It looks like this creates a short code for a post based on the screenshot. Why doesn’t the built in widget code work?
How does that work? The downloads page uses the permalink structure in the settings, so it is not using a page template. For examples site.com/downloads/category-name. It looks like it is displaying the code in archives.php, however, the download information is not available there.
