this means we have to reupload all our almost 1’000 documents to the media section in WordPress and then link them via the way to show in your image.
Is there a faster way to do this?

Will this change the URL structure of the link again? Or what will the link look like?

Can you give an estimate, of when something like that (the view option in the shortcode mentioned by me) will be available?

that is the shortcode we are using:

that is a workaround but will not help properly. It would destroy the design.
