There is no existing truncated text. I want to create one, I want to display few lines from the full description.
I am not experienced wp developer so:
do you mean that I need to change [except_100] to [description] in the backend or in the code for the link tpl?
Could you please be more descriptive as I am as I said not very experienced

The description of each package has several lines of text but when listed I would like to show only 2-3 lines with a link at the end for more (more….). This behavior should happen every time when the description is shown in a list of files, like in the example link I share above.
