@blakemiller, you NAILED it!!! Couldn’t have said it better myself. I’m a veteran WP developer, and there’s no plugin that is such an incredible pain in my butt as this WP Download Manager. I absolutely hate seeing the little red update icon… I can always guess that it’s this plugin, and that it will not update (the dreaded “Update package unavailable”).
Admins / Shahjada, you guys need to get a better server plan — or something — if you’re going to keep charging people what you do for this plugin. It’s unreal. It’s an absolute necessity for me to keep my license active for this plugin, as it’s critical for several clients, but if there was a better option out there, I want you to know that I would have moved to it years ago. All because your plugin can never update correctly. I hope what you said above fixes it for good.
