HI, sorry but i still can’t make your plugin work …

What we want to do is have a Media page where we put press releases, pictures, etc for the press to download, but we want this page to be password protected for :
1) avoiding everybody to download stuff
2) collect mail addresses of people downloading

In addition, users of the webshop should not be able to download press stuff (that’s why we wanted to have different user roles for the web shop and the Media page).

So now, when I register through the media page it creates a new user with Subscriber role (what is fine) but even if i put the right shortcodes in a page i’m not able to see my packages, i get a message “Not allowed…”. I have to connect with an admin user to be able to see the packages…

But then with the admin role a can also CREATE new package !!! what we absolutely don’t want !!!

So how can we set-up your plugin to work as a simple password protected download page

NO.. you can’t do that !!!

The default user has to stay Customer… because of the Woocommerce webshop…

What we want is that when you register from Download Manager it creates a new user with Subscriber role so that in our user list we have customer (web shop users) and subscriber (media users)…

Other problem, even when I’m logged as Subscriber I can’t see the available package to download… What are we doing wrong ???

not quite, I still have the two TABS “LOGIN” and “REGISTER” that are in blue !!!
