Thanks for the update.
Unfortunately there’s still something odd happening.

Now that I access the user’s downloads section generated by the [wpdm_my_downloads] shortcode I can see not only the packages that are addressed to me but also to other users.

Example:
Boss (HR Person) is sending a package to Employee2.
Employee1 is looking at his downloads list: The package is visible (it shouldn’t be visible here). When clicking on it: Access denied.

Another issue with the plugin:

With WP_DEBUG on, the following Warning is showing for the [wpdm_my_downloads] shortcode:
