You’re not completely on your own at all. I started a thread about this weeks ago and gave Shaon a log-in to my project as he requested.
He has yet to fix it.

The WPDM site feels very professional but in my opinion the product itself suffers from feature-bloat and tries to do way to much rather than concentrating on doing core functions very well. I’m unhappy with my installation and am concerned about security with the plug-in – issues I have raised with Shaon but which he has yet to address – but our site is relying on WPDM now and moving away from it would be a huge ordeal. For a plug-in at this price I expected better quality.

We also encountered another issue, which perhaps isn’t worthy of its own thread.
My client was unable to edit the title of a package after adding it. Although on submission the green bar would appear to confirm a successful edit, the title remained unchanged when you went back to ‘Manage Packages’. This was iin IE – I’m not sure of the version, but 8 or above, on Windows 7. It’d be great if they didn’t use IE, but they currently do and I may not be able to disuade them from doing so – despite all the perfectly good reasons for doing so.
