Sorry, been busy
I cannot change items per page to 5 anywhere but frontend settings.
I’ve changed it to 5 at ‘Frontend acces,’ but I still get 503.
When I check control panel, it seems like WPDMP creates an insane amount of requests: 114 (just to check all packages).
Also the plugin is creating a lot of server errors related to “wp_ahm_user_download_counts”

Thank you for looking at it, but sorry to say, I still get 503
Just tried to look at ‘all packages’ and got:

503 Service Unavailable

My webhost says it is this error being generated:

E_COMPILE_ERROR

Line #3 /var/www/udskrevet.dk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/modules/server-file-browser.php.

Error message: Cannot redeclare wpdm_dir_tree() (previously declared in /var/www/udskrevet.dk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/admin/server-file-browser.php:5)

Any advice?

And no. Now it doesn’t work again.

I can – again – only download 1 password protected file. Then all other buttons on that page will not create any download link or anything (see screenshot)

This is really tiresome. Same problem as two months ago, no change and I still don’t see the template you talk about anywhere.

Nope. No template showing up.

Anyway – now I have tried to fix it for weeks – I am convinced it is not a problem with the template, it’s some error that is linked to the password query. It only happens after I have entered the password and downloaded 1 document. After that, any other buttons will only return stylling/CSS as shown on former screenshots.

Ok, now I uninstalled old plugin, installed new + license key. There’s no change – the ccs kode instead of working buttons, and no pop-up template showing up on dropdown.

So I manually changed the template to “56abb6a8020d8” – but that’s not a fix, it’s just a workaround. Hope you see the difference.

I still find it strange that a download plugin has problems downloading???

Hi Shaon

You have asked me to download and install the plugin again. Will that delete allready created packages?

Wordpress will not allow me to upload the plugin while the old version is installed. The built-in updater in the plugin is just strange and doesn’t update much.

So, before I do anything, will all the data stay even though I delete the plugin?

Hi Shaon

Thanx for helping. Unfortunately the pop-up template is not available in the template-drop-down menu. I cannot shortcode all the stuff

Also, now I get weird errors, that comes and goes – saying that the plugin is unlicensed?

So, please, is there any simple way that makes this plugin just work? I haven’t planned for using time on workarounds.

I’m not sure what to look for. Theres no template on the roll-down menu named [download_link_popup]

But maybe you mean I have to check something about the backup-functionality?

Just tried to use [download_link_popup]. It doesn’t show anywhere, so I have to edit shortcodes. That doesn’t work for me, too difficult.

How do I get the template to show up when I wan’t to insert shortcodes for packages/categories? I use the TinyMCE button.

Also, just tried pressing two download links. The first works fine, the next just shows all the styling, see attached file.

Basicly were talking about workarounds for a download plugin that doesn’t allow dowloads. It’s kind of weird. It should be the core functionality.

Thanks, I’ll implement the template it as soon as possible.

I had one question more, which is, if there is any way to have automatic updates, or something more simple, like just a working version, that doesn’t need frequent updates.

Regarding issue #2, I’ve attached a screenshot.

It shows what happens if I click on more than 1 download link. A lot of styling code shows up

I’m using the panel template

Hi I think my problems are in the somewhat in the same area:

1) Password protected files will not download.
I am not a programmer, and I do not update my plugins every-day. On my site the download links often stop working, and I have to update everything to make them work.

Is there a simple way to always make the download links work?

2) If more than 1 download-button has been used, instead of a download link, I get this on the next buttons: “<button type=button id=’close’ class=’btn btn-link btn-xs pull-right po-close’ style=’margin-top:-4px;margin-right:-10px’>”

What is happening?
