It’s not the Internet speed.
Compare the following two load speeds.
https://www.elkcity.com/news/ for me 4 seconds
https://www.elkcity.com/wpdm-test/ for me 30 seconds
So nothing has really changed but now this page is slow as well:
https://www.elkcity.com/wpdm-test/
No, it’s slow there as well.
Seems it’s any page that uses WPDM shortcode inside a page built with Colibri editor.
Where?
After further testing it seems that it has to do with the shortcode being used inside the Colibri editor. See this page:
https://www.elkcity.com/colibri-18877/
So how is that page any different than this one which is slow:
https://www.elkcity.com/test-2/
I’m not sure I understand you’re meaning.
This is my shortcode:
[wpdm_packages author="0" login="0" paging="1" orderby="updated_date" order="desc" items_per_page="10" template="call_to_action_3_mod" cols=1 colspad=2 colsphone=1]
Yes, that page loads fine but when you go back to the main page where it has to list all of the downloads is where the problem is:
https://www.elkcity.com/city-hall/documents/
The server performs fine for everything else. All of the other pages work fine except the ones using WPDM.
See the following page:
https://www.elkcity.com/city-hall/documents/
I turned on debug logging and don’t see any problems.
I added Super Page Cache and that didn’t seem to help.
I’m always using the latest version of WPDM.
Thank you. That seems to have fixed the issue.
