TechGeek I see they are not fixing this plugin STILL. At least they are responding to you. Ha! I have to get my attorney to take action. When they have to pay for damages that may motivate them to get it fixed (fingers crossed).
Enough is enough. This lack of care for your users and professionalism is astounding, Shaon. I will be seeking additional damages to the harm your plugin has caused my website.
I encourage you to leave a comment in the thread here https://wordpress.org/support/topic/download-manager-plugin-not-working-no-response/ for one of the creators. He said they were going to get working on it but I have yet to see any action. Perhaps if more of us comment that we are having issues and no one is helping then they will actually do something about this.
It is crazy that they see our messages and continue to ignore fixing the issue. I have never dealt with such disappointing business practices. I have submitted my claim to Paypal and am reaching out to my attorney for next steps. I will be removing the plugin either this weekend/early next week. Very disappointing to say the least.
Same here. I have followed up with Paypal. I am going to contact my attorney to see what other action I can take.

Can you recommend an alternative plugin? I am going to follow up with one of my developers to find a substitute as well.
I completely understand. I spend 30 minutes-1 hour everyday emailing people and responding to comments about this issue. It not only is time consuming but to your point it is ruining our sites’ reputations which is invaluable.
Oh geez, six weeks, that’s horrible. I agree this needs to get fixed now. It is really upsetting my readers. Lots of issues with this plugin for sure.

Download manager is not working again. It just keeps processing and no download comes. Please get this fixed asap.
Since you were not able to get the plugin fixed I am dropping all social media share options and only doing the email sign up. I am having them receive the download instantly but a popup then appears that says the download will also be emailed but the email never comes. Please remove this language or get it fixed. There is no download that comes via email just instantly.

Why is the download box huge now? It looks completely different than it used to. The download should not show up until after they Tweet or follow on Twitter right? It is showing up instantly.

But they are showing up BEFORE the action is actually taken. For instance, I click “tweet” and the pop up with the download shows up before I actually tweet. This is not correct.
No they are also getting the instant download for all options and they are NOT supposed to be. Please look at the FFM template settings. You can clearly see they should NOT be getting it instantly. There is STILL an error in your plugin.
