Using the Download Limits add-on, I see this at the bottom of the General Settings tab. I want to know what happens if the “Limit Reset Period” at the top is left blank.

Sorry, I explained poorly. I want a new customer to be able to purchase a set of “credits” that allow them 100 downloads (in this case, images). And I *don’t* want those download credits to reset.

In the “Download Limits” add-on, there is a default reset field in addition to role-based reset options. If I leave the default reset field blank…what happens?

I’m trying to offer a role that has credits that last 1 year, and *don’t* reset. But the credits/limits can be used for any “package” / image download.
