A nice feature request would be to allow an option to show/hide categories based on access roles.

How do permissions work for categories and sub-categories?

For example.. Can I have a category allow access to all users, but a sub-category that only allows access for a few roles? Or will the subcategory always take on the permissions of the parent category?

Thanks Shaon, I see what you mean now.

So there is no way for me to display a category (such as “Marketing”) to all roles, but limit specific files within a category to specific roles, right?
