Thanks for the response. However, I have activated and configured Paypal. My problem is that when I attempt to make a purchase from my website clicking the buy button does not take me to PayPal, instead I stay on my site. No purchase is made.

Thanks for information, I have reverted to the version 2.3.5.

I do need your advice about my other point: is it possible to modify the script such that following payment at PayPal, the buyer can just download the file without them having to register or log in? My client does not want to force his buyers to have to register or log into the site to get the download.

I was wondering if it were possible to automatically create an account and log them in when they return from PayPal or just enable a buyer to download the package without the need for an account.

I would really appreciate your advice/support on this matter.
