Hi Shahriar,
THANK YOU-THANK YOU!!! I can browse through the folders and it is showing up great.
Which files do I need to backup so I don’t loose your changes in an update next time round?
Thanks again, I really appreciate your help.

Jhorene

Hello Shahriar,

Hello Shahriar,
Thank you so much for this. Which files do I need to backup for the changes?
If I login the first time as the client and click on the earohaven-trading-resolutions package it opens up the attached view where it still shows the folders as empty and even when you click on them it’s empty. But then if I for example see nothing in the Resolutions and then click on home the folders shows up great as per your view above.
So I think there is still one small conflict since it doesn’t show the folders the first time round? users will not know to click on home and it will look ‘broken’ to them unfortunately.
Can you please have a look at this one last thing for me please?
Much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Jhorene

Hello,
Thank you for the reply.
I added the shortcode [file_list_extended] into a new page template to use and I’m seeing the folders but nothing happens when you click on the link or the Browse button and they all show they are only 4.00KB big which is impossible…? (see attached)
It’s not showing the amount of files or size like your screenshot.
Please assist me to get it working like yours?
Thank you in advance.

Jhorene
Thank you – thank you! It works great now without having to put the shortcode into the package section.
Do I need to backup the single.php file then I assume for incase the theme updates I don’t lose these changes?
Last question I think you missed, is there anyway I can display the folder structure with a 3 column layout so that people can get the feel of the files being organised into the parent and sub folders as uploaded via FTP? e.g. click on the main parent folder, show the sub-folders and then only the files…(same as a Windows Document Folder Structure probably) I might have +/- 50/100 files per client and it’s uploaded via FTP in the respective folder structure to help organise it. (attached is a sample of what I mean)
Thanks again.

Hello,
No I didn’t make any changes. I even uninstalled the Download Manager Pro and resintalled it to see if it made a difference, but still nothing unfortunately.
I even tested on another site, added the plugin, added the directory via FTP, but it doesn’t want to show me the directory/folder structure, it only lists the bunch of files names. What template is suppose to show you the folder structure from FTP?
Thank you for your help.

Jhorene
Hi Shaon,
Thank you for the reply.
Yes sorry you are missing what I meant, just go one step further from the /client-dashboard page and click on the package link, and you will see it’s a blank page with only the title of the package – nothing is showing if I remove the shortcode [wpdm_my_downloads login=1] from the packages content?
Also, if I do put back the shortcode inside the packages I can see the files I uploaded via FTP and it’s super important that I keep the folder structure I have from my FTP folder so I have made Link Template ‘3 columns detailed’ but once I click on the folders links or the Browse buttons they are empty, nothing shows. What am I doing wrong?
Please-please assist me to get this working the way it should.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
Another question on this, once a client logs out, is there a way to redirect them to the homepage instead of the WordPress wp-login.php page?
Thank you.
