So, let me look forward in time … if I have 100 sub-sites on a Multisite installation, something goes wrong and I have to restore from a backup, I will need to go to every single sub site, one by one, open all pages to do with your plugin, click update on every single one?

I’ve just not experienced issues like this with any other plugin.

And why would it list the .htaccess file alongside the 4 files I uploaded (in backend File Manager)?

And when in the backed under File Manager, I cannot see the file you uploaded listed, even if I am logged in as network admin. Why would that be?

Is that related are you saying to having restored to a different site?

But it shouldn’t just happen if I have not just restored a site?

And the issue with pages needing to be public to appear in the dropdown boxes on the Settings / frontend options?

I checked again a few hours later and the problem remains. Maybe you can let me know what you changed in Permalinks or what I should do to get it working?

Thanks.

Thanks, I have checked and it now works.

Can I ask what you changed in the Permalinks structure of the site? I will run into this on other sub-sites if I don’t know what it needs to be set at.

Also, when you say “If you face such issue again, just update the page with wpdm_frontend shortcode” … what do you mean by this? What should I do beyond adding the shortcode (which was already there)?

You suggested to deactivate at Network level and re-activate at Site level.

Same problem still happens.

I’ve also seen that if I give a page a ‘parent’ when creating the page that the ‘Add New’ link also takes me to a 404 error.

Without a parent it seems to work OK.

Can that be fixed? (assuming I’m not doing something else wrong).

Thanks.

Thanks for the guidance … one thing I was confused about was that I could select a page for the Frontend Uploader but then it didn’t always appear in the drop down box for Frontend Settings.

Am I right that if a page is set to ‘private’ (meaning as I understand it that you need to login to be able to view it) that it then doesn’t appear in the dropdown box? (I only use private pages as I need people to be logged in to use the site)

I ask because I was able to select the page in the dropdown when the page was set to public but if I go set the page to private and then go back to the settings page, it says I have not selected a page.

Thanks.
