To share we found a custom code in the theme caused this – we have removed since and all is working ok.

We have the email lock on but it does not work with the add to cart plug in.
To be clear we have purchased the add to cart pro plug in today.
BTW we have purchased the add to cart plug in and the email lock modal pop up will not show when multiple downloads are added to cart
