This problem only arose after I had upgraded to version 4.6.2,
How can it not be because of wpdm? One of your templates works fine, while others don’t?? Once the issues are sorted, I will think about giving you a better grade on WordPress, but other errors are appearing every day!
Well, it still doesn’t work, on any browser or from various machines I have tried it from. As a result I have had to disable the reCaptcha option. Maybe once you have the alternative option, I will be able to use that. We live in hope.
As I have told you, if you have the text ‘Download’ visible [Download_link], you click on it and the recaptcha box appears as in your image, when you then check the ‘I am not a robot’ box it shows an error ‘Cannot contact recaptcha’. If I choose the extended version, [download_link_extended], the recaptcha box appears immediately and when the ‘I am not a robot’ box is checked, the recaptcha selection box appears and when entered the download starts without pressing the button!
If it was a code on my site, surely whichever recaptcha box you choose to use, you would get the same fault. The plugin obviously uses a different code between the download links, therefore I suspect the code is incorrect in one of them.

I have done a little testing and found that when I use {download_link] reCaptcha doesn’t connect, but when I use [download_link_extended], recaptcha works.
The problem is that I do not want the reCaptcha to be displayed until the ‘download’ button is pressed?
Is there a coding issue here? It obviously needs to be addressed ASAP.

The problem seems to have arisen again, nothing has been changed, but reCaptcha is not connecting gain. I have changed templates and it works ok on others, changed back to one that was previously working and it doesn’t

I have had a look myself and noticed that the ‘template’ edited shows [download_link_extended]. When I deleted the ‘_extended’ part, the button shows and the reCaptcha only shows when the link is clicked.
There is now another issue, the reCaptcha pop-up doesn’t line -up correctly?
Thanks for the reply, I was thinking more of allowing the user to select the cropped area rather than the whole image or what seems to be a centred crop by the plugin.

Not sure why that was, I signed in with it and it logged in OK?
I have got it working by creating my own template, but I have other issues now!
How can I stop the captcha appearing until the download button is pressed?
Also, I have a featured image, which is edited automatically to crop the image on the page it appears, can I select which part of the image appears?
