Hello Nayeem,

We were unable to get the existing member levels to work, no matter what we did, enabled/disabled, the levels assigned would erase once a user logged out.

We finally decided to recreate all four levels and reassign the new levels to our members. We then had to do a search and replace to make sure the new wppm roles aligned with the correct documents.

It appears to be working now, it was just more work than we anticipated having to do after updating to the newer WP plugin version.

Appreciate your help, this was a tricky issue.

We are unable to deactivate the Premium Packages – Sell Digital Products Securely WP Download plugin as part of troubleshooting as we get another critical error when deactivated.

Hi Nayeem,

Yes, we created a duplicate version and thoroughly troubleshooted the issue including enable/disable of plugins and alternative themes. The issue appears to be the WP Plugins as we had no issues with older versions, only the newer versions after we updated.

Hello Nayeem,

I’m still unable to fix the issue. Can you show me on our version, not the testing version, how you are able to assign all four levels, view all 1204 docs on /members page, logout, and log back in, and still see 1204 docs.

In all instances for us the member levels assigned no longer work upon re-login.

Unfortunately, yes. The original issue, pasted below, still exists. I appreciate your help.

We are experiencing numerous issues with the WP Membership Pro Add on

We have four membership levels and when we assign these levels they work until the member logs out, at which point all subscription levels stop working.

Hello,

I did as you suggested but continue to get a critical error unless I deactivate either WP Membership Pro or WP Download Pro, I am unable to have both activated.

I’ve successfully upgraded to V 3.4.7 but the main issue remains. I assign all levels and see downloads, but when I log out and login I am no longer able to access downloads. All levels appear to be removed during logout.

Hello Tanvir,

I know have two sites that can’t update to WP Members Pro V3.4.7.

In both cases after I attempt to update the membership tab returns an invalid post type error, and then the membership tab disappears.

I’m using the most recent version of WP Download Pro in both cases.

Hello Tanvir,

The Download Manager plugin is V 6.1.2

The Membership Pro plugin is V 3.4.6 (currently inactive as it causes a critical error when active)

There is a prompt to upgrade the Membership Pro to V 3.4.7. I’ve done that in the past and the plugin disappears. You can test yourself, and I will send login in a follow-up private reply.

One last question. I’m trying to disable email notifications when member levels are changed. I reviewed the docs and found this article: https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/admin-settings/email-options/

When I look in settings I only see general and payment options/tabs though.

Still investigating this. Another issue is that when we upgrade from V2.5.1 to V3.4.6 the users we’ve created are still there, but longer recognized, so no access to the downloads is given for any.

The user are still show their user/member classifications.

The subscribers in the new plugin version appear to be there, but when we go in to manage no information is there.

I have added a multiple user roles plugin to allow us to assign multiple roles to a single user. When we activate Pro Members V3.4.6 the options for assignment change.

It’s a really big issue for us. The old plugin causes a critical error, and the new version is not functioning properly.
