Hi Nayeem,

Sorry, i’m struggling to understand your suggestion.

So, just to be clear – is there no way to automatically convert the packages that are on the website already from using local storage to look on S3 instead?

The reason I ask is that we have 4 websites each with 1000+ packages per site, there is a with a huge library of files. Manually attaching the files to each of these packages will take a substantial amount of time.

Please let me know if i’ve misinterpreted.

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Nayeem,

What would happen with all of the packages that currently exist in the database?

Would I need to go through them all and link them up? Or is there a way that I can tell ALL of the packages set in the database that the files are now stored on S3?

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Nayeem,

Just to be clear, are you suggesting downloading all of the WPDM media files from wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files then uploading them back into each package one by one via the WPDM interface?

Thanks,
Matt
