Hi Shaon,
I CMOD the /download-manager/cache/ to 777 but that didn’t fix it, I also tried deactivating and reactivating all plug-in and still nothing same thing.

Anything else?

Hi Shaon,
Do you have a date when you plan on making carousel available? I need this plug in to display new packages/downloads available on my front page of my website.
I currently have : WordPress Download Manager Pro Extended Short-Codes Version 2.0.0 plug in installed and [wpdm_carousel] does not work.

Is there another way?

I think I was able to solve question 1, 3, and double images showing.

Still need help figuring out why [wpdm_carousel] not showing new downloads packages added. I updated extended shortcodes plugin but not showing any downloads. the plug in when active messes up the rest of my theme as well.

Also, all packages now show image twice ???, I only want image to show one time?

Hi Shaon, Thank you for migration to v4 support, ๐Ÿ™‚
I notice archive page and carousel not working. I updated archive plugin to v2.0 and that shows archive on download page now., but files not showing in categories,

1. Do I have to manually create again all the categories and edit all packages and assign to newly created categories now?

2. How do I change style of archive page like in demo style 1,2, or 3?

3. Some thumbnails/preview images not showing in download archives page list.

4. How do I fix [wpdm_carousel] to show on front page again as with v3.8

Hi Shaon,
I didn’t want to add another tread but i’m also having another issue if you can look at it also….When ever I create/add a new download package I enter the main description, the in the visual/text field box I enter the full or extended description and after I add the package it does not show up on the download page, I go back to view/edit the package and the visual/text box is empty, after the 3rd or 4th time of editing adding the description the it shows up or stays and shows on the download page for the file. Hope i’m being clear enough. I’m using chrome, I tried this with Firefox and explorer same issue.

I was wondering the same…I’m sure you can since the front page of the wpm archive has that on the bottom…now I think if you find the code relatiove to it in the archive php and insert it in the download page php may work with some editing, otherwise I think you have to clone or insert a html string in you template page…not sure just some guesses I was trying to look into..since I WAS LOOKING FOR THE SAME.

Shaon, I just wanted to say thank you for all of your help today. I really appreciate the patience and help given.

I do have a question: is it possible to sort the downloads on archive page by description? how are they sorted? by last edit, date? description?

Well after hours and hours….did I mention hours….and reading through 55+pages of post here I stumbled upon and use the word stumble upon very lightly, because it was like a needle in a haystack to figure this out so far……

I managed to figure out how to get the archive part working so I have a download page wich is some what like what the demo is….But I cannot figure out how it is you get the categories or sections part above the files/downloadables list to show up? Anyone?

And before you ask or give me a link to the archive add on, I already have it, I not only purchased WPDMPro but all of the add ons..

I have the archive plug in installed and using the ” [wpdm-archive] ” short code in my page can some one tell me exactly what to type in my wp page editor?

Please help!!! See image attached
